Under the local ownership of Lori Eberly, Comfort Keepers of Lincoln and Catawba County continues to grow each year. Eberly has both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Health Administration and opened her first Comfort Keepers office providing care in Salisbury, NC in 2001. Eberly was named a Top Woman In Business for the Lake Norman area in 2011. Over the past 17 years, Eberly has expanded to four Comfort Keepers locations serving seven counties in North Carolina. While Eberly is an entrepreneur at heart, her passion is Comfort Keepers, and she remains involved in the day to day operations of each of her Comfort Keepers offices to ensure that the utmost quality of senior care service and compassion is being provided in accordance with all state and federal guidelines. Eberly employs approximately 225 employees, including RN's, LPNs, CNA's, Companions, and administrative staff.
From 1999-2001, Eberly was instrumental in the growth of a local assisted living community with locations in Newton and Lincolnton and is very excited to be back in this area providing home care to seniors and their loved ones.
Comfort Keepers Senior Care Mission
Our mission is to provide our clients with the highest level of quality of life that is achievable with our senior care services. We shall treat each of our clients with the respect and dignity they deserve, as though we were caring for a member of our own family.
The special people who deliver our unique brand of home care (We call them Comfort Keepers®.) are carefully selected, screened, and trained to provide professional, compassionate elderly care.
Interactive Caregiving is based on four primary pillars, which Comfort Keepers leverage to care for, engage, and interact with our clients:
- An active senior mind promotes independence, better mental and physical health, happiness, and a longer life.
- A physically active senior maintains strength and independence, lessening or delaying the effects of aging.
- A well-nourished senior is more energetic, both physically and mentally.
- A safe senior lives in an environment that reduces the likelihood of accidents and promotes timely response when illness or accidents occur.
With our Interactive Caregiving approach, we are able to raise seniors’ quality of life to a much higher level than typical senior care providers.
